Training Teens on Financial Matters
By mstrohm | July 11, 2007
As many of you know I not only write for this blog but I also own and contribute to ThriftyTimes.com. This site aims to promote contentment and wise spending among Christians.
There are three posts over on ThriftyTimes.com that are valuable to parents of teens. The first article has to do with the new world of mobile phone commerce. Your child is now able to purchase cell phone games, music or even pornography with no money or credit and have the cost of these services appear on the cell phone bill. You can read the entire article here: Cell Phone Commerce
The second article points to a free book on teaching teens about money. You can read it here: Teens and Money
Finally, there is a list of free or inexpensive activities for your teen. You can read the article here: Activities For Teens
Parenting teens can be challenging but also rewarding! Ellen and I have the privilege of having between 1 and 3 teens in our home for the past 10 years! Trust me, you will survive and hopefully even thrive.
May God’s grace and peace be with you,
Mark Strohm
